Rising Rose Yoga
RYT 500/Sound Healer
Tonya Rose is a wife, mother of two boys, and a courageous warrior who has faced and overcome incredible challenges. From battling and healing from numerous autoimmune diseases, PTSD, and a rare, aggressive form of breast cancer in her thirties to now healing from it all in her forties, she's shown immense strength and resilience. But she didn't let these obstacles or diagnoses define her! Instead, she transformed her life, leaving her banking/teaching career behind, and became a born-again Christian yoga instructor (RYT500, trauma-informed) during her two-year cancer battle. Her goal was to help inspire others to make healthier choices physically, mentally, and spiritually. During her healing journey, she also discovered sound healing and became a certified sound healer, which she incorporates in each session. Her journey is truly inspiring, and she continues to make a positive impact on those around her. She spends time with her family and rescue dog, adventuring outdoors, traveling, learning, and building healthy connections and communities with like-minded people! Coming from a family of military personnel, policemen, and firefighters, she is passionate about helping veterans and first responders, which is why she always offers them half-price, along with seniors and children. She teaches group classes and is also available for private sessions and events.
Trainer and Physical Therapist
Sally Williams is a certified personal trainer and physical therapist assistant with over 20 years of experience in the health and fitness field.
She is a competitive bodybuilder and has competed worldwide in professional fitness competitions. She believes that fitness is a lifestyle that can look different for everyone, based on individual needs and wants.
In her training, Sally emphasizes how making sustainable lifestyle choices yields sustainable results and that growth is a continuous process. Consistency is more important than perfection, and she teaches students to focus on the journey, not the destination.
Sally is a mother to two active teenage daughters and loves to be involved in their exercise journeys and participation in competitive athletics. She loves hiking, running, exercise biking, and all things active, especially with good friends.
Sally is passionate about fitness, wellness, and the physical and mental benefits of pursuing a healthy, active life that focuses on daily improvements and goal-setting processes.
She understands each of us has a different starting place – however, gains from the current baseline are always in front of us no matter where we begin! She particularly loves helping others on that same lifestyle expedition.
Yoga Instructor
Brittany is the owner of Yogic SLAY, where Self Love And Yoga are how we slay. She considers herself a creative, open-minded, and inspirational individual.
Before her yoga career, she spent a few years in network marketing which she loved because it kickstarted her health journey. However, she felt like she had not yet found her true passion.
During her health journey, Brittany found yoga and started practicing it regularly. With a dance background, she quickly fell in love with the practice of yoga and its similarities to dance.
Shortly after starting her yoga journey, a friend told Brittany about a school where she could get certified to teach yoga. She wasted no time signing up and graduated with a 500-hour yoga teacher training certification from a nationally accredited college.
She is also certified in the Armit method of yoga Nidra and sound healing. She has fallen in love with yoga, its philosophies, and the myriad benefits it has brought to her life.
Brittany's classes center on her understanding of yoga as a transformative practice; whether you are looking for its physical or mental benefits, the possibility for transformation is always available for you here and now.
Yoga Instructor
Originally a native of Minnesota, Alyssa moved to Arizona in 2010 and hasn't ever wanted to leave. She has been practicing yoga for four years and teaching yoga for about two years. Alyssa is a 500hr yoga instructor and has completed the prison yoga project teach training. She fell in love with this practice because it brought her peace and clarity.
Alyssa loves being out in nature and adventuring with her dogs, and you can usually find Alyssa hiking, camping, and practicing yoga in her spare time.
